Learning Sign Language

One of Ally's day care teachers is well versed in sign language and has spent some time teaching the kids simple words. She learned "more" and "please" very early on and now that her verbal vocabulary is exploding, her sign language repertoire is as well. Its pretty amazing actually because we don't specifically work on these things at home. They will randomly come out when Ally talks to us (or to herself) and we just sort of assume she is right. Here are things she has started signing lately as she says them:
More
Please
Thank you
Boy
Girl
Friends
Sit down
Yes
No
Sleep
Eat
Drink
Colors: red, blue, black, green, yellow

Her ability to retain information is incredible and you can really tell her imagination is starting to grow. She will run through things she has learned in school while she rides in the car or will randomly use signs in regular conversation. Better invest in a book so we can actually be sure she is doing things correctly!
