Deck Party

Its been a relaxing end to the summer for us and to bid my free time a fond farewell, we hosted a gathering on our deck this weekend. We were so excited to have everyone over to see it! We are very pleased with how it turned out, especially all of the seating and the new table and chairs we bought. We really weren't worried about it not being sturdy, but it was nice to test that out as well. Safe to say, it all worked out. Karl was the grill master and a lot of our friends were able to make it over. Unfortunately it was really hot, humid and buggy so after dinner the party pretty much moved indoors. We will have to save the fire wood and s'mores for another night! We are really looking forward to having more friends and family over once the weather cools down. We hope our backyard will become a nice post-game hangout over the next few months.

Ella started out excited to make new friends, but by the end of the night she was passed out on the living room floor.
