The Deck is Done!

It took a little while to get going but once handyman Dick got started, it was complete in a matter of days. The finishing touches were put on this morning and we cant wait to have people over for a cookout. It was hard for us to visualize what the finished product would look like after having nothing but weeds and grass since we moved in, but we couldn't be happier with the finished deck (complete with built in benches). Now all we need is to get some new furniture and the outdoor party space will be complete. Soon to be added are a table and chairs on the deck and more seating and a fire pit on the patio! Deck- check, landscaping- starting very soon..... we are finally making progress on our summer to do list.
