Half Baked!

Today makes the halfway point so at 20 weeks this bun is half baked! According to babycenter.com baby is the size of a banana this week and based on our appointment yesterday, that's about right on. Since we aren't going to find out the sex, we have given baby Kraebber the nick name Ringo for now. Its not exactly gender neutral but it helps since I can't say he or she when I talk about "it" without feeling bad and I can't stand calling it and "it". Ringo it is for now... but don't worry, the names we have picked out so far do not look or sound anything like Ringo. I am feeling pretty well most of the time but still tired out by the time I get home from work. Ringo is starting to make me more aware of all the crazy moves he/she is working on and right now it feels like little bubbles. Considering all of the gymnastics going on during the ultrasound, it shouldn't be long before those kick and punches start to feel like more.
Now that we have seen evidence that Ringo is healthy and strong, it feels real and we have realized that we need to get a move on with our house rearranging. Up until now we have been thinking about the plans but have said its too early to shop or too early to move stuff. In looking at the calendar May will be over soon, we have a very busy month of June, and my work schedule will kick into high gear mid-August so that doesn't leave us a lot of free weekends to do all of the things that are on our list. We have the plans laid out of what needs to be done to clean out the room and we have started researching furniture and all of the other important things Ringo will need. A little overwhelming but exciting at the same time! Everyone says the last 20 weeks will go fast so we better get a move on.
Enjoy the 20 week baby belly photos. I just noticed the dark purple shirt in front of the black fireplace wasn't so well planned but you get the idea. More to come soon!
