It's A.....

Alien! Yesterday we had our 20 week ultrasound but we decided to stay in the dark about the gender. (Yes, I let Karl win) It was amazing to see how big the baby is and how much it moves! H/she would pose for the photo and then quickly change position. The ultrasound tech was very nice and she was able to get all of the measurements she needed. Karl and I were both more excited than nervous going in but as soon as we saw the little face on the screen followed quickly by the rest of the alien-looking body, we were so happy. All important parts are accounted for including two very active arms with hands and all fingers, two long legs with big feet and little toes, all four chambers of the heart working at a steady 140 bpm, a functioning and growing brain, functioning kidneys, lungs and the spine. We spent about 30 minutes checking out everything and taking all the measurements and baby is measuring right on target for the due date of September 30. As of now, baby weighs 11 oz and measures 12.4 cm long. In addition to a few photos, we also have the whole screening on a VHS tape. Yes, its old school and looks a little like static on the TV but we will convert it to a DVD and add it to the baby book anyway. Enjoy the photos of baby Kraebber and his/her first photo shoot!

Smiling face.
Do I look like mommy or daddy?

Profile view of the whole body.
The shadow near the face is its hand
popping up to say hello.

All this posing is making baby tired.
